Most folks quit their weightloss dreams right when they are about to experience the results. The one thing that could set success apart from failure is your ability to remain on track. Even if you just want to quite just keep going.

Whatever the reason for the obesity in our society, one thing is clear, we must do something regarding it and it starts with the individual. We have no idea what it means to go without food for a day, we eat constantly, and often times food is used as an addiction in the same way drugs are used by drug addicts. Your typical diet scheme is only making matters worst, in wasted time and money.

One of the first things that we need to do, is to change the way that we look at food. Our mind and emotional attachment to food can keep up from taking action and succeeding.



We must at least comprehend the basics of weight gain in order to understand weight reducing. The body never waste precious calories, but instead will hold on to the un-used energy as fat. Consistently storing this fat reserves, is what lead us to this point.Overeating is a small part of weight gain, the density of your caloric intake is what matters most. Finding out your caloric daily requirements is a must. Once you find this number out, lets say its 2000 calories a day, anything over this will not be eliminated by the body, but instead will be changed into fat and deposited throughout the body. For other folks it may be 3000 calories a day, but what ever it is you need to find out as this will help as part of your slimming efforts.

The food type that we eat is the main culprit in our weight gain. The food group highest in fat, oils and calories is meat, seafood and dairy products.

The typical snack food is loaded with sugar, or salt or preservatives or additives and should not be consumed.Every day choosing the correct foods to put into your body will make the difference between fat and not, healthy and sick.

It has been scientifically shown that a diet high in plant source foods will likely be optimal for dieting and over all heath. Foods that are derived from plant sources are high in fiber, but very low in fat, and these are the foods your body needs to feel full and to drop a few pounds at the same time..

Eating a good healthy breakfast before 8 AM is essential and your breakfast should be the largest meal of the day. Lunch at no later than 1 PM and dinner no later than 6:30 PM or at least 3 1/2 hours before you go to bed. These are the basic to live by.

One of the habits you will have to change if weightloss is to be achieved is eating dinner late at nights right before going to bed. This food will remain undigested in your system until the next morning. because of this you might not feel as hungry first thing in the morning so you are more prone to skip breakfast, then by lunch you shall be starving so you can be more lightly to overeat. This cycle will continue as you gain more and more weight

Even though how much foods we eat is important, it depends on what type of food more than the quantity itself.We eat way too much at any one sitting and our portion sizes seem to be getting larger and larger every year.We in the westernized world eat way too much food! We pile our plate sky high with foods and all you can eat buffets are everywhere. How much food you eat is significant to diet and should never be overlooked It just makes sense that a reduction in the amount of food we eat at any one sitting will make us lose fat.

Since many of us live sedentary lives we see our weight spiraling out of control, so physical activity is important to break the cycle of weight gain and no activity. If you are just starting with a workout program start small first and build up from there.
